CONTACT INFORMATION UPDATES

Notify the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) of updates to District Test Coordinator (DTC) and Building Coordinator (BC) assignments by completing this form. For WY-TOPP and WY-ALT, also notify the Wyoming Help Desk at 888-897-8024 or wyohelpdesk@cambiumassessment.com.

DISTRICT & BUILDING COORDINATOR TRAINING

Virtual Trainings on August 16, 19, and 23

  • The WDE invites all DTCs and BCs for all assessments to attend the annual virtual DTC and BC Training.
  • Register here for one of three training sessions:
    • 8:30-11:30 a.m. on August 16, 2022.
    • 12:30-3:30 p.m. on August 19, 2022.
    • 1:00-4:00 p.m. on August 23, 2022.
  • A Zoom meeting link will be emailed to all registered participants.

TEST INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION ENGINE (TIDE)

Available on August 16, 2022

  • TIDE users are reset annually.
  • DTCs will receive a password reset email.
  • DTCs are responsible for adding school-level users to TIDE.
  • Additional district-level users may be added by contacting the Wyoming Help Desk.
  • All users will receive an email from DoNotReply@cambiumast.com when an account is created.

ACT

Fall Student Data Upload

  • The WDE has provided a student file with all registered seniors for the Fall 2022-23 administration.
  • Schools must login to PANext to validate their enrollment or add or remove students.
  • All student enrollment information must be validated by August 26, 2022.

Fall Student TAA (Accommodations) Requests

  • School Trusted Agents may begin submitting accommodation requests for the Fall administration.
  • All accommodation requests must be submitted through the TAA portal by August 26, 2022. 

Fall School Testing Date and Address Confirmation

  • School Test Coordinators should log in to PANext and complete Test Date Selection by August 26, 2022. Schools should select the October 18, 2022 testing date in PANext for both online and paper/pencil testing.
    • If schools are testing: Complete the Test Date & Materials Receipt Selection section in PANext.
    • If schools are not testing: Complete the Not Testing section on the Test Date Selection screen in PANext.
  • Schools must confirm the shipping address on the PANext Manage Contacts screen is correct for receiving materials.
    • If it is correct, no further action is needed.
    • If it is incorrect, submit an Address Change Request Form. If you are unsure what address should be used, contact your district office.

Training: “The ACT Test and Your Data”

  • The WDE is partnering with ACT to provide training on ACT data. Five, three-hour training sessions will be available at four locations across the state from September 26-30, 2022.
  • Registration is open to all school and district staff who will benefit from ACT data training. Locations and times are listed in the registration.
  • Register here. Submit the form only once. 
  • Spring 2022 ACT Reports are now available. Participants should ensure they have appropriate access to Success in order to view their school’s data.
  • Please bring a laptop to the training.

ACCESS/ALT-ACCESS

WIDA Secure Portal Training Certificates

  • All Screener and Test Administrators are required to be certified through WIDA’s training courses on the WIDA Secure Portal. 
    • Screener Certification is required annually. 
    • Test Administration Certification is required every other year. A refresher is recommended between certifications. 
    • Alternate ACCESS Test Administrators will need to complete a unique course for the ALTELLA ALT-ACCESS Field Test.

WY-TOPP

2022-23 Braille Survey for All Districts

  • The WDE requests all districts to respond to the Braille Survey.
    • If there are no Braille readers in your district this year, please mark that option on the survey.
    • If there is more than one Braille reader in your district, please complete a separate survey for each Braille reader in your district.
  • The survey requests information about the type(s) of Braille students use to access the statewide assessment system.

  • ACCESS: January 17–February 24, 2023.
  • ALT-ACCESS Field Test: February 14–April 20, 2023.
  • WY-ALT: February 28–April 7, 2023.
  • WY-TOPP Interim Spring (optional): April 11–May 5, 2023.
