(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) Commissioner's Teachers Advisory Council (TAC) will meet on Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. ET.
The council is designed to improve the educational landscape in Kentucky by providing the state's commissioner of education with direct input from classrooms in the Commonwealth. Bridging the gap between policy and practice, the council advises the commissioner on educational priorities so Kentucky’s students are well-prepared for any career they choose. The ultimate goal is effective teaching in every school, every classroom, every day.
A livestream of the meeting will be available on the Kentucky Department of Education's Media Portal. Members of the public also may watch the meeting in person at the department, 300 Sower Blvd., Board Room 516, Frankfort, KY 40601.
