(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's School Curriculum, Assessment and Accountability Council (SCAAC) will meet on Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. ET.
SCAAC is comprised of 16 voting members. All members are appointed by the governor.
The council was created to study, audit, review and make recommendations concerning Kentucky’s system of academic standards, assessing learning, identifying academic competencies and deficiencies of students, holding schools accountable for learning, and assisting schools to improve their performance.
A livestream of the meeting will be available to watch on the Kentucky Department of Education Media Portal.
