KDE to announce 2023 Kentucky Teacher of the Year at Sept. 20 ceremony

What:
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) will host the 2023 Kentucky Teacher of the Year ceremony on Sept. 20 and recognize 24 Teacher Achievement Award winners from across the state.
Winners of the 2023 elementary, middle and high school Teacher of the Year awards, in addition to the overall 2023 Kentucky Teacher of the Year, will be announced during the ceremony.
Valvoline will present each of the 24 recipients of the Teacher Achievement Award with a cash award and certificate. The three Kentucky Teachers of the Year also will receive custom-designed glassware commemorating their accomplishments.
The event will be held in-person for the first time in three years.
