Kentucky School Report Card data to be released under embargo Oct. 14; press availability set for commissioner

Who: 

  • Jason E. Glass, Ed.D., Commissioner of Education and Chief Learner 
  • Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) staff members 

What: 

Data from the 2021-2022 School Report Card will be released under embargo at 9 a.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022. The embargoed data and a media briefing packet will be available for members of the working press who request it. The embargo will expire at 12:01 a.m. ET on Oct. 18, 2022.

Commissioner of Education Jason E. Glass and other KDE staff members will hold a press availability at the Kentucky Department of Education, 300 Sower Blvd, Frankfort, at 1 p.m. ET on Monday, Oct. 17, to discuss the release of the School Report Card data. Any information discussed during that time is embargoed until 12:01 a.m. ET on Tueday, Oct. 18.

Members of the working press must request access to both the embargoed data and the link for the press conference by emailing Chief Communications Officer Toni Konz Tatman. Requesting access in advance of Friday, Oct. 14, is highly encouraged.
