(FRANKFORT, KY) –The Kentucky Technical Education Personnel Board will meet virtually on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. ET.
KRS 156.840 established the Kentucky Technical Education Personnel Board to conduct personnel appeals from certified and equivalent employees in the Office of Career and Technical Education under KRS 156.800 to 156.860. Appeals are conducted in accordance with the provisions established in KRS Chapter 13B.
The Kentucky Technical Education Personnel Board is comprised of five voting members appointed by the governor, three of whom are selected from employees within the Kentucky Department of Education, excluding employees in the Office of Career and Technical Education. The remaining two members are teachers employed by the Office of Career and Technical Education's Area Technology Centers.
In accordance with KRS 61.810(1)(j), the board will enter into closed session to deliberate and discuss a Recommended Order. Guests and visitors will not be permitted to attend the closed session portion of the meeting.
