(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) School Counselor Advisory Council (SCAC) will hold a virtual meeting on Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. ET.
SCAC is designed to provide the commissioner of education with direct input from counselors who serve in Kentucky's public schools. Bridging the gap between policy and practice, SCAC advises the commissioner on educational priorities that meet the needs of the whole child.
The council allows for discussion and feedback from the field on topics that will lead to the improvement of Kentucky's public schools and the opportunities they provide students.
The meeting will be available on the KDE Media Portal.
