12/16/22 BRT Construction Update

NW Expressway and Pennsylvania Ave.

NW 42nd St. and Classen Blvd.

Independence Ave. and NW 56th St.

NW 13th St. and Classen Blvd.

NW 10th St. and Dewey Ave.

NW Expressway and Pennsylvania Ave.

Phase: Bus pad and platform construction

Traffic Control: The right lane of eastbound NW Expressway will be closed between Villa Ave. and Pennsylvania Ave. There will be two thru lanes open, as well as the right-turn and left-turn lanes during this time. The right lane of southbound Pennsylvania Ave. will also be closed between NW Expressway and NW 50th St.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 12/19/22 - 12/30/22

Phase: Waterline relocation

Traffic Control: The right lane of southbound Classen Blvd. will be closed between NW 43rd St. and NW 41st St. There will be two southbound lanes open during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 12/19/22 – 12/30/22

Independence Ave. and NW 56th St.

Phase: Electrical work and sidewalk construction

Traffic Control: Southbound Independence Ave. will be narrowed and traffic will be shifted between NW 56th St. and NW Expressway. There will be one northbound and one southbound lane open during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 12/19/22 – 12/23/22

NW 13th St. and Classen Blvd.

Phase: Waterline relocation

Traffic Control: The right lane of southbound Classen Blvd. will be closed between NW 14th St. and NW 13th St. There will be two southbound lanes open during this time.

NW 10th St. and Dewey Ave.

Phase: ***Construction on hold due to utility work by Oklahoma Natural Gas***

Traffic Control: Westbound NW 10th St. will be narrowed and traffic will be shifted between Lee Ave. and Dewey Ave. There will be one eastbound and one westbound lane open during this time.
