ACT

Manage Participation by January 20, 2023

  • Schools that have not completed the ACT “Manage Participation” steps must do so before January 20, 2023. This includes selecting your paper/pencil or online test dates and materials shipping/receipt dates.
  • Schools that do not complete these steps will be assigned to online testing.

Accommodations Requests by February 10, 2023

  • The deadline to request accommodations and supports is February 10, 2023. ACT will not authorize accommodations or EL supports for testing after this deadline unless the request meets the requirements for “Qualified Exceptions to the Deadline.”

Verify Enrollment by February 10, 2023

  • The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) has completed the student data upload. 
  • Verify the enrollment count for your school is accurate in PearsonAccess next (PANext) by February 10, 2023. Verification helps ensure schools receive the appropriate quantities and types of test materials.
    • Check that the students’ Delivery Format is appropriately set as either “Paper” or “Online” on the Manage Student Tests Section.
    • Check the accuracy of accommodations and/or supports enrollment information in the Test Accessibility and Accommodations System (TAA).
  • Schools have the option to split testing across multiple test dates. If this option is selected, manage enrollment counts in PANext to ensure the correct quantity of materials for each test date.
  • Refer to the following steps on The ACT: Wyoming webpage for additional information and resources:
    • Step 2: Configuration.
    • Step 4: Preparation.
      • See “Update Examinee Information” and “Create Online Test Sessions.”

  • The order window is January 17-31, 2023.
  • Paper materials are ordered through TIDE. Reference the TIDE User Guide for further instructions.
