Happy New Year!
Thank you to all our volunteers for your hard work and dedication over the years.
Our appreciation is endless as the raindrops are abundant.
Native tree planting
King County Parks
wants to improve our lands for fish and wildlife, and you can make a difference by spending a day
planting trees. Join us on Saturdays
this winter to plant native trees and shrubs along the Snoqualmie River or in our
forests at Taylor Mountain, Soaring Eagle, or Squak Mountain.
Native trees and
shrubs enhance the natural stream corridors and forests to improve habitat
for wildlife while their roots help hold stream banks in
place.
Events are on Saturdays from 10 a. m. to 2 p.m.

Washington Trails Association (WTA) members celebrated another year of hard work and
great achievement building and maintaining King County Parks' backcountry trails. They don’t just walk the trails – they
maintain and build them, and we can't thank them enough.
Join WTA for a project this year. You'll be sure to have a great time and learn what it takes to build and maintain trails for all to enjoy.
