employee groups.
 Open calendars can improve collaboration
Starting Oct. 7, the rest of the agency will join Executive Leadership Team members in having open calendars. Instead of a blue line on the calendar that vaguely means "busy," everyone will be able to see where others are unless an event is marked "private." Learn how to prepare your calendar for the change.
 'Come Together to Give' to Lambert House
Oct. 1 marks the start of our annual giving month, and Sound Transit's five employee resource groups have selected one nonprofit apiece as suggested beneficiaries for our 2019 Come Together to Give campaign. In the coming weeks, we'll be highlighting those five organizations. Which one will you choose?
First up is Lambert House.
 ServiceNow debuts Oct. 15
Everything you once did in Service Manager will be easier in ServiceNow, a state-of-the-art portal for requesting services agencywide. Registration will open Monday, Sept. 23, for 30-minute training sessions. Trainings will take place Oct. 1 through 11 in preparation for the Oct. 15 launch of ServiceNow.
 Meet mentors, mentees at the mixer Sept. 26

 Lessons in energy efficiency Sept. 26
Hear about the success and challenges of the recently completed energy efficiency retrofit at the Central Operations & Maintenance Facility, which resulted in a 23% reduction in energy use. Lunch and Learn, noon-1 p.m. in the 705 Building, Mt. Rainier Room.
 Improve processes, collaboration with DocuSign
Want to start using electronic signatures at Sound Transit but don't know how? Records Management is offering information sessions Monday, Sept. 30, and Wednesday, Oct. 2, to demonstrate and answer questions about the use of DocuSign, the agency's software for legally binding electronic signatures.

 Ambassador Program vest collection drive is on
Return Ambassador vests to drop-off locations at Union Station and the 625 Building so the Ambassador team can count them and get everyone covered for Connect 2020.

 Thursday, Oct. 17, Sound Transit will join organizations across the state for the Great Washington ShakeOut at 10:17 a.m. Why is it important to do the drill? To react quickly in an actual earthquake, you must practice often.
