The previously scheduled Board of Zoning
Adjustment public hearing for Monday, February 3 has been postponed. The applicant has requested to postpone the
BOZA hearing till after the March 6 Planning Commission public hearing.
Once rescheduled, the BOZA public
hearing will be announced in District 19’s eNews. The Board of Zoning Adjustment will review the
applicant’s request for a proposed building to exceed the 25 foot maximum front
yard setback.
This case was heard
before the Land Development and Transportation Committee on January 23 and was
referred to the Planning Commission for final action. The public hearing
before the Planning Commission is Thursday, March 6 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mayor’s
Gallery located on the 4th floor of Metro Hall, 527 W. Jefferson
Street.
You are invited to
attend a review of a proposal for a REVISED DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT PLAN and
a WAIVERS to permit parking in front of proposed buildings, not provide
a 3’ masonry wall, permit a gas station canopy and bank canopy to be located
between the public street and the building, front door locations when a
building faces two streets, and to permit encroachment into a required
Landscape Buffer Area.
