The Power of Providers group from the Washington State Department of Health is hosting a vaccine fatigue webinar. This webinar will cover the definition of vaccine fatigue and explore its contributing factors. The presenter, Dr. Gretchen LaSalle, will discuss effective approaches to vaccine conversations and address vaccine fatigue in ourselves and in our patients. Participants will learn ways to recover their passion for vaccination conversations and develop strategies to make them easier and more effective to do.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Define vaccine fatigue and explore its contributing factors.
- Discuss ways to address vaccine fatigue in our patients and ourselves as health care providers.
- Highlight recent updates to vaccine recommendations.
- Review effective approaches to the vaccine discussion.
The webinar will be recorded. Continuing education is available for nurses and medical assistants.
