RSV, Flu, COVID Vaccines available at Walk-In Flu Clinic at Portland VA Medical Center

Starting today RSV vaccinations are available at our Veteran Walk-in Flu Clinic, open Monday, November 13- Friday, November 17 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., at Portland VA Medical Center Auditorium Atrium, located on the 2nd floor of Bldg. 101.

 

Unlike routine and risk-based vaccine recommendations,  RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus)* vaccination should be based on a discussion with a healthcare provider.  We have a pharmacist on site to have a shared decision-making conversation with you to determine if the RSV vaccination would benefit you.  

 

Free flu and COVID-19* vaccines are available to all eligible and enrolled Veterans at the walk-in clinic, no appointment is needed. 

 

*RSV and COVID-19 vaccinations are available on a first come, first serve basis. 

 

Can’t make it to our Walk-in Flu Clinic?  

Flu vaccines are available: 

At your regularly scheduled medical appointments.  

On a walk-in basis at your Primary Care clinic, during business hours or by calling  503-721-1498 , option 3 to make/change an appointment. Please note, wait times may vary and walk-in vaccinations are not available at the clinic in Lincoln County. 

At one of our in-network Community Care Partners through April 30, 2024.  

Billing Information Card Bring this card when you visit a VA in-network retail pharmacy or urgent care location to (1) fill a prescription and/or (2) receive a flu or COVID-19 vaccination. 

Be sure to state you are a Veteran with the VA and bring a valid government issued ID card.

Under "Facility Type," choose "Community Pharmacies (in VA's network)"  

Note some, but not all, "Urgent Care" facilities may provide flu shots. 

Click "Search" and contact the facility that works for you. 

COVID-19 vaccines are also available free of charge and can be given at the same time as your flu shot without a referral or prescription.
