Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander report shares disaggregated data to inform policy decisions
The Pacific Islander Community Association of Washington (PICA-WA) released a disaggregated data report detailing the specific systemic barriers and related outcomes experienced by the state’s Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NA/PI) community.
The Washington State Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Community Data Report 2019-2024 was developed in collaboration with UTOPIA WA, NA/PI community members, and other partners. It highlights the need for more disaggregated and culturally aligned data collection and reporting. The report includes policy recommendations informed by community input.
