Boulder County’s Substance Use Advisory Group Offers New Monthly Grief Support Opportunity: Overdose Loss Support Group

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County’s Substance Use Advisory Group has launched a new overdose loss grief support group that provides counseling and support to those who have lost a loved one to drug overdose. The support group is being offered through TRU Community Care and will take place online on a monthly basis. Members of Boulder County's Substance Use Advisory Group have worked to create a space for those grieving overdose losses to be in support of others with shared experiences.

The group will meet virtually the second Thursday of each month from 6-8 p.m. beginning Oct. 8, 2020 and is free of charge. Anyone with an experience of overdose loss that would like to be included in community with others is welcomed to participate. This group is not limited to Boulder County residents.

  • WHEN: Beginning Oct. 8, 2020 - second Thursday of each month
  • TIME: From 6-8 p.m.

TRU Care will administer a brief intake process for interested participants.
