IDEM Announces Grant Funding for
Pollution Prevention Projects

Indianapolis - The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) announced today the availability of grant funds from the Pollution Prevention Program. Eligible candidates may seek a grant ranging from $10,000 to $25,000. Grant requests will be accepted through Nov. 1, 2019.

Proposals should strive to increase pollution prevention, water and energy conservation, and source-reduction activities through demonstration projects and measurable results. For example, proposals that address material substitution, product reformulation, process changes, or in-process recycling of wastes are types of projects that are eligible for grant funding.

Municipalities, non-profit organizations, and public or private businesses located and doing business in Indiana are eligible to apply for funding. Applicant match must be greater than or equal to the grant amount. Final funding determinations will be made by the end of January 2020. To apply, visit idem.IN.gov/prevention/2553.htm
