The COVID-19 crisis has aggravated the difficulties faced by young people across the entire EU, running the gamut from low wages and high unemployment rates to difficulty achieving financial autonomy. Although implementing youth policies falls under the remit of each Member State, the EU is running a number of schemes to promote the active involvement of young people in the European project, their training and personal development and international cooperation in all regions of our continent. .
- 1.How does the Commission intend to support the Member States in creating decent jobs in order to combat youth unemployment, which is on an unbroken upward trajectory?
- 2.What are the Commission's priorities in terms of youth policies?
