DDOT Emerging Technology Pilots, Testing, and Demonstrations Initial Application
This application poses screening questions to companies and organizations that are proposing pilots, tests, or demonstrations of emerging transportation-related technology in the District of Columbia. The responses will help District Department of Transportation (DDOT) staff to better understand the impacts of the proposed technology and will allow staff to more strategically select pilots, tests, and demonstrations for implementation.

Before you fill out our form, please consider the following:
*Operational Efficiency + Resiliency: DC prioritizes maximizing public benefit and ensuring financial, operational, and environmental sustainability.
*Equity + Accessibility: Always check for and address barriers in your product or service that may result in inequitable service delivery or unintended biases.
*Do you know DC?: No really, do you? The quickest way to our heart is to show us how your product or service addresses the needs of DC (government or its residents).
*The District places a high value on open data, privacy and cybersecurity. Show us you do too.
*Solve a real problem: Provide a strong and well-evidenced use cases which demonstrates need and public benefit.
*Don’t submit a pre-formatted sales pitch: We can tell when companies CTL-FIND-REPLACE City X with DC. Not cool.

Applications will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Applicants who fit agency needs may be invited to present further on their proposal to DDOT staff.

A copy of your response will be emailed to the email address you enter in the first question below.
