Grants and Funding

Funding Indiana Agriculture

Federal Update as of February 24, 2025

Memorandum M-25-13 ordering the freeze of financial assistance was rescinded on January 29, 2025.  Following this action, the White House released guidance clarifying that the order to freeze funding remained in effect; however, this White House order was temporarily blocked by a federal judge. ISDA has reached out to federal grant programs’ points of contact at the onset and is awaiting guidance. ISDA will relay information as received from the federal funder. Any questions you may have regarding this should be directed to ISDA program points of contact.

Federal Update as of January 29, 2025

As you may know the President issued an Executive Order freezing federal financial assistance. The Order has undergone several updates in the last 48 hours and will likely continue to evolve as time goes on. As a preemptive measure, many federal payment platforms and agencies are pausing reimbursement processing to await further guidance on the implications of the Executive Order. These decisions are executed outside of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture. We will continue to provide pivotal updates to our grantees as they are received, and capacity allows.
