The 2020 Maine Agricultural Trades Show occurs Tuesday, January 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday January 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday, January 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center, Augusta Maine.

Maine Agritourism Sessions at the 2020 Ag Trades Show

Pre-Registration Encouraged for Agritourism Session

  • Is your farm exploring expanding agritourism enterprises?
  • Are you a community leaders who wants to provide Maine experiences for visitors?
  • Are you producer group who wants to share a collective story of Maine agriculture to encourage seasonal visitors to buy Maine items, and become customers?

Farmers, businesses and supporters of Maine agriculture who seek to better connect with Maine's visitors, are encouraged to attend this session. The session will highlight expanding networking opportunities, understanding the process for scheduling tours with tour companies, such as the Maine Motorcoach Network, and creating  sample itineraries to promote visits to farms and communities that an integral part of Maine’s quality of place and space.

Attendees are encouraged to sign up in advance for this session.

This session is presented by the MDACF Bureau of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources, and DECD's Tourism Office staff.
