CACFP Meal Pattern Waiver Survey
The Bureau of Nutrition and Health Services was notified by the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) of the Nationwide waiver approval for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) meal pattern requirements as stated in 7 CFR 226.20 CACFP Regulations. Approval of the waiver applies to child care sponsors of homes, child care centers, and adult care centers participating in CACFP. This waiver is effective immediately, ending June 30, 2021.
Independent center programs, center and Home Sponsor organizations are required to notify the State agency to request use of the waiver when required components/foods are not available in their local market, and the reason for the unavailability by completing this survey. You can complete the survey more than once to report food shortages as they change over time.
