Indiana is dealing with increased COVID-19 spread and a resurgence of the dangerous virus, which means the fight against it is far from over. Wearing a face mask is one of the simplest, most effective ways to slow the virus’s spread. Wearing a mask provides some protection to you and also protects those around you, in case you are unknowingly infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. That’s why we need all Hoosiers to do their part to help slow the spread. We’re asking each of you to mask up — and speak up about how wearing your mask can save lives.
As Hoosiers, we pride ourselves on our hospitality. Right now, the best way you can be a good neighbor is to wear your mask when you’re in public. It’s a big way we can help take care of each other.
Here's how you can help! Download items below, which include #MaskUpHoosiers logos, profile photo frames and signs for you to customize and share. Together, we can combat misinformation and encourage everyone to stay safe, mask up and make a difference.
Businesses now must post clearly visible signs at public and employee entrances stating that face coverings are required for those entering. You can print out a sign in English or Spanish from the Indiana Department of Health. This requirement applies to any business, not-for-profit, service, educational institution or other entity as defined on page 5 of Gov. Eric J. Holcomb’s Executive Order 20-48.
We need you to #MaskUpHoosiers! As this pandemic continues, it’s so important to practice safety precautions and healthy habits to protect each other. Wearing a mask helps prevent someone who unknowingly has COVID-19 from spreading the virus. Show us your face mask fashion and share why you choose to #MaskUpHoosiers!
Everyone wears a mask to protect someone — whether it’s for your grandma, your kids or clerks at the grocery store. Use the hashtag #MaskUpHoosiers to share an image of yourself wearing your mask and answering the question: Whom do you wear your mask for?
