Neighbors and Friends, 

Last week, I was officially sworn in as your new Representative in the Minnesota House on the same day the 2020 legislative session convened. I was incredibly touched to hear my new colleagues remember Rep. Diane Loeffler. I heard them remember her skills and knowledge as a legislator, but also her compassion as a friend. Diane’s colleagues remember her the same way we do as her constituents: a dedicated public servant who showed up, worked hard, and put Minnesota’s most vulnerable first. I recently sat down with House Public Information for an introductory interview which you can watch here. I talked about being a new member, my priorities for this session and why district 60A is the incredible place we all love.

Town Hall on Saturday

I joined Sen. Dziedzic, Rep. Noor for our session Town Hall Meeting on Saturday. I welcomed the opportunity to meet you and listen to your concerns and questions.

Committee Assignments

Speaker Melissa Hortman has appointed me to serve on the Energy and Climate Policy and Finance Division, State Government Finance Division and Education Policy Committee. I’m eager to get to work on improving lives for Minnesotans.

House of Representatives

Committee schedules, bill tracking, floor sessions and other relevant information can be found on the House of Representatives website. This is a great resource to keep track of all legislative business during session and in the interim.

I also recommend taking a tour of the fully restored Capitol building, one of the most beautiful structures in Minnesota. I invite you to make a day out of visiting the Capitol and sitting in on a committee hearing or floor session.
