In accordance with Gov. Janet Mills and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services' recommendations designed to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), the Maine Department of Environmental Protection is postponing the public meeting on the air license application for Global Companies LLC that was scheduled for March 31st at South Portland High School.
The state is taking proactive steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Maine. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in reducing the coronavirus risk to Maine residents. The Department will continue to monitor the situation and will reschedule the meeting as soon as practical. Interested parties will be notified of the new meeting date once it is set. Please also continue to monitor the Department's website for this project.
As a reminder, the intent of this meeting is to give the public the opportunity to provide input to the Department on the application materials. This may still be done by providing your comments on the application in writing by emailing them to Air-Global.DEP@maine.gov or by mailing to:
