Advice for families with babies and young children
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, families with babies or young children may need additional support to stay healthy. You can find Bradford Council guides for families and health professionals on our website.
It covers topics like keeping your keeping your toddler active, help for pregnant mums and how to keep your home smokefree.
Parents asked to be responsible when buying formula milk
Bradford Council is urging parents to only buy the amount of baby formula they need following reports some are finding it difficult to purchase infant formula.
Parents are being reassured that they can use a different brand to their usual formula as all manufacturers make their products to the same standards and contain similar nutritional values.
Major supermarkets are limiting the sales of infant formula to ensure that there is fairer distribution.
Local stores, pharmacies and corner shops do not seem to be experiencing the same issues and parents should check availability in these stores as well. Many pharmacies can also order products for their customers if asked. For further advice visit or website.
