The NIH NIMHD Loan Repayment Program (LRP) is open for applications and the deadline to apply and submit applications is by this Friday, November 20, 2020, 8 p.m. EST! NIH NIMHD invites qualified health professionals with doctoral degrees to apply to its 2020 application cycle:
The LRP offers loan repayment awards of up to $50,000 of a recipient’s qualified educational debt annually, in return for a commitment to engage in NIMHD and NIH-mission relevant health disparities or clinical research in non-federal research settings for at least two years.
The objectives of the congressionally established programs are to:
- Increase the pool of highly qualified researchers who conduct health disparities research
- Recruit and retain highly qualified health professionals from disadvantaged backgrounds into clinical research careers.
Applications must be submitted by 8:00 PM EST on November 20, 2020.
