IMPORTANT UPDATE - The venues for March 1st and March 2nd in Milwaukee, and March 3rd, March 4th, and March 11th in Menomonee Falls are full, so there will be no new in person seats available as of 2/26/21. We are still accepting new online registrations for those classes.
2021 Winter Code Update Training takes on a new format this year with both online registration and hybrid in person and online training. Except for the plumbing training on Friday, February 19th, all courses are being offered both in person and online.
The "Schedule of classes by Date" section of the website has a comprehensive view of each class and their date, location, and daily schedule. This may also be downloaded to your calendar.
Even if you choose to train online, we encourage you to support your local inspectors associations as you have in the past and attend their sponsored training if possible. The associations are listed in the title of each class in the agenda section as well.

Making Your Selection
Step 1. Select your desired courses from the registration section. Courses are listed by category and date.
Step 2. Proceed to the agenda section. Click on your desired course to view the daily schedule and option to download to your calendar ( or you can come back to the website at a later date and do this step).
Step 3. Click Register Now.
Step 4. Complete the checkout process. If you made a mistake on your selections, or wish to empty your cart, use your browser back button and then deselect the class(es).
Step 5. Typically you will receive an email confirmation of your purchase within 30 minutes of registering. In some cases it may take longer for your order to clear the payment processor. Remember to check your spam/junk mail if you don't receive one.
Step 6a. For online courses, a link will be sent to the email you used during registration approximately 24 hours prior to the course.
Step 6b. For in person courses, please bring a paper or electronic copy of your tickets to the event for the check in process.
Step 7. Return to "Schedule of classes by Date" section of the website to view each class and their date, location, and daily schedule. This may also be downloaded to your calendar.
Important Notes
- Each attendee must register with a unique email. If an email is shared by more than one attendee, only one will receive credit.
- Please enter your DSPS CUSTOMER ID NUMBER. If your license/credential is still in the legacy Regulated Objects system, (Commercial Inspectors, Electricians and Plumbers), this is your license number. If your license/credential is in the eSLA system, (UDC Inspectors and Dwelling Contractor Qualifiers), this is your Customer ID Number, not your Credential Number. If you enter the incorrect number, you may not receive credit for the course.
- If you wish to attend some courses online and some in person, you MUST go through the registration for each type (in person or online) separately.
- All registration types will close 48 hours prior to the class. Following that, you must contact the training coordinator for that course to check class availability.
