Digital Green Certificate: webinar for journalists

EU summit and EU-Turkey relations: debate with Michel and von der Leyen

MEPs will assess the outcome of the 25-26 March European Council videoconference and the 6 April meeting between the EU and Turkey, in a debate with Presidents Charles Michel and Ursula von der Leyen starting after the session opening, around 17.00.

Horizon Europe

Plenary will review the Horizon Europe research programme for 2021-2027 in a debate starting around 19.00. With an overall allocation of €95.5 billion, Horizon Europe will help the EU’s health systems prepare for future pandemics and its industry to decarbonise and innovate. Plenary is set to adopt the programme on Tuesday.

Reform of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism

In the evening, MEPs will debate the new EU Civil Protection Mechanism that aims to improve the EU’s response to large-scale emergencies, especially when these affect several countries simultaneously. The vote will take place on Tuesday.

Votes

Between 18.30 and 19.45, MEPs will vote, among other things, on

  • the requests for the waiver of the immunity of Filip De Man, Zdzisław Krasnodębski and Ioannis Lagos.

  • the EU-Honduras Voluntary Agreement on forest policy and timber trade.

  • a resolution on chemical residues in the Baltic Sea based on citizens’ petitions.

The results will be announced on Tuesday morning at 9.00.
