MWBE Opportunity for Galvanized Water Service Line Replacement I

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held via a virtual meeting at 2:00 PM, Tuesday May 11, 2021. No onsite meeting will be held, and Contractors and Vendors should not come to the City expecting to attend in person. Users may join the virtual meeting remotely using the following WebEx:

The Project consists generally of the following major items:

Replacement of 248 galvanized water service lines with copper pipe. The method for
replacement is a trenchless method preferred by the Owner and is described in the
specifications and provided video. Replacements are across the Raleigh service area.
Work also includes identification of the private side of the service line while replacing the meter setter.

Listed below are some of, but not limited to, the needed trades for MWBE subcontractor participation:

  • Portable Toilet Rentals
  • Traffic Control
