A day at the office for a conservation agent could begin long before the sun comes up and last long after it has gone down. There is little time at a desk, but a lot of time in a truck, in the woods, or in a boat. Chris Doran, Perry County Conservation Agent, will tell the story of the joys and challenges of protecting Missouri’s fish, forests, and wildlife. Conservation Agents are the law enforcement officers for the agency. They are responsible for enforcing a wide range of laws related to conservation and public safety. These generally include laws pertaining to hunting, fishing, trapping, boating, habitat preservation and environmental protection. JAMIE S KOEHLER
