Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 20, 2021 is National Bioenergy Day. Our national laboratories have a wealth of diversity and talent dedicated to developing groundbreaking technologies and processes to produce industrially viable fuels, products, and power using renewable biomass and waste resources.
We celebrate the engineers, biologists, modelers, computational experts, postdoctoral researchers, and others who are working diligently to develop such affordable domestic fuels and co-products.
One of the national laboratories doing R&D on behalf of the Bioenergy Technologies Office is Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). To celebrate National Bioenergy Day, learn about five of PNNL’s “bioenergy superheroes” who are helping drive the future of fuels. Read the Bioprose: Bioenergy R&D blog.
