Join GTO for Its Virtual 2022 Peer Review in May

PR

Next month, the Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) is hosting its virtual 2022 Peer Review event during which 67 GTO-funded projects will be presented by our investigators and reviewed by external subject matter experts from industry, academia, and federal agencies. The peer review, which is open to the public, is an opportunity for our stakeholders to learn more about GTO research, development, demonstration, and deployment projects. Additionally, 23 lightning talks are included in the program. The last GTO peer review was in 2017; a great deal has happened since then, and there is much to discuss.

Peer reviews are standard mechanisms used to obtain robust, documented feedback for program planning. Qualified independent experts assess the progress and contributions of projects in GTO’s portfolio and provide high-level, strategic feedback. The findings help GTO identify strategies that will enhance existing efforts and shape future work. The event also provides an opportunity to promote collaboration and partnerships.

All sessions will be virtual and open to the public. The sessions are on May 10, 12, 16, 18, 24, and 26. Register now.
