We want to hear from you: VSHSL Community Conversations

This year, the Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) is partnering with community groups from across King County to host a series of community conversations to receive YOUR input on issues related to the VSHSL as King County begins to plan for renewal of the VSHSL in 2023.

These conversations are open to all King County residents. Each conversation will focus on a specific community. Community Conversations will be held throughout the spring and summer. We invite you to join all those relevant to your community!

Community Conversations

The Community Conversations will hold space for VSHSL updates, sharing and discussion, including:

  • A brief update on the Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy
  • Opportunities to share what you think is going well with the VSHSL
  • Discuss what parts of the VSHSL may need improvement going forward.

Discussions and sharing will take place in smaller breakout rooms and large groups. Each Community Conversation will have live Closed Captioning available for Zoom meeting participants.

To request free of cost language access services, please make a note in the Eventbrite registration link. We will do our best to provide any requested accommodations. In the event that we are not able to provide a requested accommodation, we will work with you to identify another way to receive your feedback.

If you have further questions, contact us at: VSHSL@kingcounty.gov.
