In partnership with SemiWorks, SkyWater developed an Apprenticeship Program focused on developing equipment maintenance technician talent. The program is designed with a combination of formal education through Hennepin Technical College and on-the-job training based on industry and academic-approved curriculum.
SkyWater’s equipment maintenance technicians are critical to our success! They help us avoid disrupted production schedules, minimize safety risks, and protect our capital equipment.
Part-time student roles at SkyWater:
SkyWater is hiring Earn While You Learn maintenance technicians to start immediately. We will jump start your career in a culture of continuous learning. Equipment maintenance technicians are responsible for repair and upgrades on our high-precision equipment used to design and manufacture computer chips. We offer tuition reimbursement, paid personal time off, and short-term incentive bonus for students working 20+ hours per week with opportunities to learn from a mentor.
