WHO WE ARE

The Mission of the Kentucky State Police Foundation is to support the agency and it’s employees through partnerships with the community and the private sector to promote the interests of the Kentucky State Police in service to the citizens of the commonwealth.

WHAT WE DO

The Foundation supports the professional men and women of the Kentucky State Police.  We build relationships within our community to provide financial support for necessary equipment, training, and other critical resources when normal funding is not sufficient.  As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the KSP Foundation also promotes public confidence, the understanding of police activities and community outreach through programs and events.

Support the professional men and women of the Kentucky State Police through our Foundation.
Agency Support

Our Heroes Need Heroes

The KSP Foundation is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Your support makes possible important unfunded initiatives such as a Driver Skills Track, indoor firing range, and access to specialized training, not available locally.

Without donors and sponsor support, the KSP Foundation could not provide this critical financial assistance to the agency’s programs that directly improves service to the citizens of our Commonwealth.

Can I make an in-kind donation?

In-Kind donations are always accepted, and are often needed to offset the costs of specialized equipment, construction materials, food, personal protective equipment, just to name a few. You will receive a statement of donation, stating fair market value of those items, from the Foundation to present to your tax advisor for income tax credit.

When do you send out the official tax deductible letters?

Tax deductible receipts are issued when an in-kind donation is given. At the conclusion of any event, a statement of tax-deductible items will be presented, in writing and electronically, to the donor or participant. Those letters are kept on file if you were to need an additional copy.

Why would KSP need my financial assistance?

Your support enables the Foundation to serve as the bridge between the restricted general budget that the Agency receives, and specialized needs that were not funded, or even a need, during the budget planning process. With your help we can provide those funds, find corporate partners to share that burden, or create a collaborative partnership to meet those immediate needs for the Agency to better serve the Commonwealth.

Our Sponsors & Partners

The Kentucky State Police Foundation is grateful to its sponsors and partners for their continued support in charitable giving and in-kind contributions. As a nonprofit organization, the KSP Foundation depends on the generosity of individuals, corporations and partnerships to fund our programs. These contributions make it possible for the Foundation to fulfill its mission: support the agency and its employees and to promote the interest of the agency in its service to our community. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation or in-kind contribution to the KSP Foundation or contact us to discuss opportunities for your organization to stand with us as a partner.
