Norse South East is a highly successful and developing joint venture between commercial specialists Norse Group and local government business partners. The partnership focusses on delivering key frontline services across the local area, undertaking waste management and grounds maintenance as part of its portfolio.
One of our key services is waste management, and we are currently looking to recruit Waste Collection Operatives in Petersfield.
You will be part of a team delivering waste collection services to commercial and public clients, taking responsibility for;
- Handling containers and loading into the collection vehicle
- Operating the bin-lift mechanism
- Assisting the driver when manoeuvring and reversing the vehicle
- Supporting disposal at waste sites
Position Details:
This is a full-time permanent role offering 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
Your Experience:
Previous experience working within a waste collection and/or disposal environment would be an advantage, however we are happy to provide training and support to the right individual.
We will be looking for you to demonstrate your ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as maintain excellent customer service skills.
