A fishing skills event to teach new participants how to catch, clean and cook catfish. Each participant will be able to catch and clean up to 3 catfish. Participants will also have the opportunity to sample some fried catfish. Those 16 years of age and older must possess a valid Missouri fishing license. Location Information

Chesapeake Fish Hatchery Annually, an average of more than 9 million fish are produced at Chesapeake, and more than 5 million fish per year are stocked out. Fish species produced include bluegill, channel catfish, fathead minnows, grass carp etc.

Directions:

Chesapeake Hatchery resides next to the village of Chesapeake in Lawrence County. It is located nine miles east of Mt. Vernon, or 10 miles west of Republic, on Highway 174.

Cancellation Policies:

You must cancel your registration before Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Age Policy:

All registrants for this event must be a minimum age of 11 years old by 9/6/2022.
