The Alder Inn is a historic Inn originally built as the "Staff House" by the Reserve Mining Company in the 1950's. It is conveniently located near Birch Lake and right off of the snowmobile trail. There are cross country ski trails nearby ... and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is just a short drive or paddle. So, no matter what your adventure ... we would love to be your "Home Up North"!
