On December 14, 2021, the State Board of Education (SBE) voted to proceed with the promulgation of Ch.10 Rules on Wyoming Content and Performance Standards. The purpose of this survey is to collect public comment on the following proposed documents: 1) Chapter 10 Rules on Wyoming Content and Performance Standards.  2) 2021 Science Performance Standards (as identified with an asterisk and highlighted in blue); and 3) 2021 Math Performance Standards Standards (as identified with an asterisk and highlighted in blue. You may give comment on one, two, or all three of these topics in this survey.

The public comment period will close on February 28, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. The Board and the Governor will review these comments prior to deciding whether to adopt these proposed documents. Your comments will be posted on the Secretary of State's website and are greatly appreciated.

QUICK HISTORY FOR UNDERSTANDING:
--The proposed Chapter 10 Rules are revised to add/update links to the new proposed standards and give clear definitions to terms within those documents.
--The 2016 Science Content Standards were approved on September 23,2016.  The proposed Performance Standards were later created by an educator committee. Public and educator input was collected February 1, 2021 through March 17, 2021.
---- The 2018 Math Content Standards were approved on August 15, 2018. The proposed 2021 Math Performance Standards were later created by an educator committee. Public and educator input was collected March 8 2021 through April 28, 2021.
