Position Title: Group Leader

Status: This is a 12 month position working 32.5 hours per week.

Position Summary: Discovery Club is a Saint Paul Public Schools program providing out-of-school time child care in a safe, fun, caring environment that supports children’s learning and development. At this time, we have various locations available throughout the district. 

Solely responsible for leading a group of up to 15 students, and/or jointly responsible for leading larger groups in conjunction with other Discovery Club staff at a 1:15 staff to student ratio.
Independently plan and implement appropriate enrichment and recreational activities for Discovery Club students; as appropriate, consult with Site Manager and other program staff when planning. Submit weekly lesson plans.

Position Title: Extension Educator

Status: Full-time, permanent. Pay range starts at $44,470 and up, based on experience

Position Summary: The University of MN Extension Center for Youth Development is hiring an Extension Educator in Hennepin County! We seek passionate and dynamic leaders whose vision is to see all Minnesota youth thrive. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and experience leading, teaching or managing youth programs in a diverse range of communities. Experience may include a combination of employment, volunteer leadership and experience in youth development programs. Two years of experience is preferred.
