Join NIMHD for this upcoming event: Why is Climate Change a Health Threat

February 9, 12–1 P.M. ET

Join NIMHD and Robert D. Bullard, Ph.D., Professor of Urban Planning and Environmental Policy at Texas Southern University, for this upcoming webinar “Why is Climate Change a Health Threat.”

The effects of climate change—on availability of clean water and air, access to shelter, access to food, and much more—can greatly impact communities experiencing health disparities. In this webinar, Dr. Bullard discusses how climate change exacerbates health disparities, causing people from racial and ethnic minority communities and people from low-income households to feel the harm of climate change first, worst, and longest.

This lecture is part of the NIH Climate Change and Health Seminar Series. For more information visit Global Environmental Health Events (nih.gov).
