Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration training sessions

The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Bureau of Disabilities Services will host 4 Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration training sessions in 2024. The training sessions will be held virtually until further notice and are for agency nurses who work for approved BDS providers.

Attendees must register for the training, as there is a limit for each session. Register by clicking on the link below and filling out the appropriate information. Note: use the email address of the person who will actually be attending the training. You will then receive a confirmation email.

Note: Registration is required. Seats may be limited. This training is virtual and all begin at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.

Reminders:

  • The attendee should bring a copy of Introduction Core A and B summary, evidence tables, 2020 core A training materials and 2020 core B training materials to the session.
  • Registrants MUST submit proper identification confirming employment with a BDS approved provider of disabilities services and confirmation of being an active licensed nurse (RN or LPN) in the State of Indiana prior to attending the training session. This information can be submitted to Celia Bartel at Celia.Bartel@fssa.in.gov.
  • If you are a BDS approved provider and registering for a nurse please make sure they understand they will need the “Living in the Community: Medication Administration Manual”, a current LPN or RN license, and identification showing that they are an employee of a BDS approved provider. These items must be submitted prior to the date of the training session in order to attend the session.
