Weekend 1 Line closure: Capitol Hill to SODO | 11/11 - 11/13

Free Link Shuttle buses will replace the 1 Line between Capitol Hill Station and SODO Station from Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13 due to electrical maintenance activity in the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel. 1 Line will operate from Angle Lake Station to SODO Station, and from Capitol Hill Station to Northgate Station during this time.

Buses will run approximately every 15 minutes and stop at all stations between Capitol Hill and SODO.

Please plan to utilize alternative options or allow extra time for transfers between buses and trains.

Alternative service options for November 11:

North King County - Seattle

  • Northgate to Downtown Seattle: Consider using Metro routes 302 and 303 (peak only) — alight in a.m. at 5th Avenue and James Street; board in p.m. at 5th Avenue and Spring Street, near the Seattle Central Library.
  • Roosevelt to Downtown Seattle: KCM routes 64 and 320/322 — both run express to downtown (peak hours only).
  • Passengers in North Seattle traveling to Bellevue should consider transferring to Route 271 at UW Station, instead of taking the Link shuttle to downtown Seattle to reach Route 550.
  • Board Sounder N Line at Edmonds Station for direct service to Seattle
