The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (District) invites you to attend a public workshop to present, discuss, and receive feedback on potential amendments to District Rule 4401 (Steam-Enhanced Crude Oil Production Wells), Rule 4409 (Components at Light Crude Oil Production Facilities, Natural Gas Production Facilities, and Natural Gas Processing Facilities), Rule 4455 (Components at Petroleum Refineries, Gas Liquids Processing Facilities, and Chemical Plants), Rule 4623 (Storage of Organic Liquids), and Rule 4624 (Transfer of Organic Liquid) as a result of evaluations conducted for the District’s expedited review of Best Available Retrofit Control Technology (BARCT) as required by AB 617 and consistent with commitments from the District’s 2022 Plan for the 2015 8-Hour Ozone Standard.
The public meeting will be held in person at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 17, 2023, at the District’s Bakersfield office located at 34946 Flyover Court, Bakersfield, CA 93308, and via video teleconference at the District’s Fresno office (1990 E. Gettysburg Avenue, Fresno, CA 93726) and Modesto office (4800 Enterprise Way, Modesto, CA 95356). Additionally, follow the instructions below to join the meeting via Zoom if you are not attending in person at a District office.

El Distrito de Control de la Contaminación del Aire del Valle de San Joaquín (Distrito) lo invita a asistir a un taller público para presentar, dialogar y recibir comentarios sobre posibles enmiendas a la Regla 4401 del Distrito (Pozos de Producción de Petróleo Crudo Mejorados con Vapor), Regla 4409 (Componentes en Instalaciones de Producción de Crudo Ligero, Instalaciones de Producción de Gas Natural e Instalaciones de Procesamiento de Gas Natural), Instalaciones de Procesamiento de Líquidos de Gas y Plantas Químicas), Regla 4455 (Componentes en Refinerías de Petróleo, Instalaciones de Procesamiento de Líquidos de Gas y Plantas Químicas), Regla 4623 (Almacenamiento de Líquidos Orgánicos) y Regla 4624 (Transferencia de Líquido Orgánico) como resultado de las evaluaciones realizadas para la revisión acelerada del Distrito de la Mejor Tecnología de Control de Modernización Disponible (BARCT, por sus siglas en inglés) según AB 617 y consistente con los compromisos del Plan de 2022 para el Estándar de Ozono de 8 Horas de 2015 del Distrito.
La reunión pública se llevará a cabo en persona a las 2:00 PM el lunes, 17 de abril de 2023, en la oficina del Distrito de Bakersfield ubicada en 34946 Flyover Court, Bakersfield, CA 93308, y por videoconferencia en la oficina del Distrito de Fresno (1990 E.
