When to report your progress

The ECV period of performance extends through December 31, 2023. 

You must submit three reports in HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) by the due dates shown in the table:

1. Health Center COVID-19 survey 
   Note: If you do not respond monthly to the survey, we may place additional terms, conditions, or reporting requirements on your award.
2. Status Update Report 
   You must show:
   • Use of ECV funds as of May 31, 2023
   • Issues and barriers you’ve experienced while you fulfill activities
3. Final report
   You must show:
   • Completed activities 
   • Use of ECV funds 
   • Successes/Promising practices, lessons learned, and more

December 2022 awards

We awarded about $350 million in one-time funding to: 

• Health Center Program award recipients 
• Health Center Program look-alikes that received American Rescue Plan (L2C) awards

You’ll use these funds to increase access to updated COVID-19 vaccines among highest risk communities via:

• Outreach and education
• Community engagement
• Coordinated partner events 

We calculated each award using this formula:

• Base value of $47,650, plus 
• $9 per patient reported in the 2021 Uniform Data System

Funds made available in May 2023

We made funds available to you consistent with your initial, approved ECV post-award submission. You:

• Have through December 31, 2023, to use these funds
• Must submit a prior-approval request if you want to add new ECV activities 
• Submit a revised total budget within EHBs if your ECV award supplement in May 2023 represents more than 25% of your initial ECV award

Refer to the Notice of Award issuing the additional ECV funding for all the terms and conditions of this funding. This includes reporting requirements.
