Every nine minutes, a child is sexually abused in the United States. At least one in seven children experience abuse or neglect in this country. We consider those numbers way too high, so this year's Mission Moment is going to tackle this tough subject.

We need to provide funding for our statewide network of Prevention Partners, who stand ready to support families and communities in addressing this important issue. Currently, less than half of our partners can offer this important education funded as part of their programs and services. Your gift will help increase the number of community-based programs addressing this very important issue.

Every $5,000 donation directly supports a local program to educate parents, caregivers and community members about how to protect children from sexual abuse. With each $5,000, another Primary Prevention Partner will receive the essential resources and training to empower their communities.
