The Mule Deer Citizen Advisory Committee (MDCAC) will be asked to formulate guiding principles and expectations to inform FWP in development of the mule deer management plan. They will identify management goals and important issues to be addressed in the plan.
The MDCAC will determine and reach consensus on guiding principles and identify collective expectations relevant to plan development, important issues in mule deer management, and management goals. The MDCAC will not be tasked with writing or approving the plan. Environmental analyses and assessments, and management actions will be the responsibility of FWP.
The MDCAC meetings will be open to the public via zoom and public comment will be taken. There will be further opportunity for public engagement and input during development of the management plan. We look forward to public participation in the process through those avenues.
When: May 6-8
Where: Helena and via Zoom
