A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS

The pandemic significantly impacted our students and had detrimental effects on their mental health and wellness. While NYC Public Schools continues to make investments to address this unprecedented increase in student psychological distress, there is still a need for new school- and community-based models of coordinated care.

HOW WE HELP

The Mental Health Continuum is an advocate-initiated project recommended by over 200 organizations, the City Council, and the City Comptroller that seeks to build a stronger continuum of mental health care within schools and to create more effective linkages between school- and community-based mental health support structures.
