MDC will be hosting a landowner workshop on Saturday, June 3rd at the Big Buffalo Creek Conservation Area located in Morgan and Benton Counties. Participants will meet for registration at the area campground (38.33349, -93.08901). Topics covered will include habitat management in both terrestrial and aquatic environments. Timber stand improvement (TSI), brush management, native warm season grass (NWSG), pollinator habitat, stream management, and fen management are topics to be covered. This free event includes kids fishing, and lunch will be provided. Registration is required. Participants should dress accordingly in woodland hiking attire.
